If you're looking for an outing that smells good of forest and nature, the Trail of Mount Major in Saint-Pierre-des-Champs (Aude, Occitanie) is the kind of adventure that puts you back in place, and smiles with it. Here, you come to enjoy yourself on paths that play hide-and-seek between the trees, with this atmosphere small village, large playground that makes you feel like you're invited rather than registered. You have two formats to choose from: 12 km to enjoy yourself without burning up, or 25 km to go pick up Mount Major and tell you how, I really went around the owner. And after the finish : make a jump to Quillan to walk you along the edge of the Aude and have a drink on the terrace, run to the gorges of the Pierre-Lys to take full eyes, or push to Rennes-le-Château for a walk full of mystery and pretty views. If you come as a duo or as a family, keep a cartridge for a quiet walk at the end of the day around Saint-Pierre-des-Champs: here, the scenery makes the show, and you only have to savor your post-race... No rushing.
